Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Bar is home to the Sydney City Celtic Supporters Club. Proudly showing every Celtic game Live & Loud on the big screen.
Whether it’s an early morning kick-off or late night game, we make sure that we are open to show all games Live & Loud. For big matches and well-timed games, we often have Live Music before the game.
On big match days at Scruffy’s, you will see a sea of green flood the bar, with singing, drinking. live music and an overall electric atmosphere. A great community people, bringing together expats and visitors alike.
The Celtic Bar
Scruffy Murphy’s consists of 3 levels, Grace’s Bar (Level 1), Main Floor and The Celtic Bar. the Celtic is a dedicated area downstairs, kitted out in green and equiped with a Big Screen to accomodate all Celtic Games Live & Loud.
For big Celtic matches, we often broadcast them Live & Loud on the main floor as well, depending on time, date and if any other major events are on at the same time. The busiest game of the year are generally, Christmas, Easter and Cup Final Days

Sydney Super Cup
In November 2022, Celtic came to Australia for the Sydney Super Cup, where they played against Everton and Sydney FC. It was an unbelievable weekend of entertainment, with Celtic fans coming from near and far to support the Bhoys In Green down under.
At Scruffy Murphy’s we had a packed house all weekend, with Live music & Entertainment, Live broadcasting of the matches and shuttle busses to and from the games.
The atmosphere in the pub was incredible, check out the video on the left for a glimpse of the atmosphere.
