British & Irish Lions Tour
Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Bar is excited to welcome the British & Irish Lions as they embark on their tour of Australia from 28th June until 2nd August.
The last time the Lions were in Australia was back in 2013 when they scrummed their way to a stunning 41-14 victoiry to win the series 2-1.
Back in 2013, we had a massive turnout of fans at Scruffy’s for the whole tournament, with people coming from all over Europe and Australia to cheer on The Lions, creating a memorable atmosphere.
The Lions Tour 2025
Scruffy Murphy’s consists of 3 levels, Grace’s Bar (Level 1), Main Floor and The Celtic Bar, that hosts 7 nights of live music and entertainment every week plus all major sporting events broadcast Live & Loud.
We’re excited for the Lions to take on Western Force, Queensland Reds, NSW Waratahs, ACT Brumbies, Invitational Australia and New Zealand, First Nations and Pacifica XV and the Wallabies.
We will be showing all of the Lions games Live & Loud at all of our venues and look forward to providing you with some great hospitality in Sydney to give you an unforgettable experience.
Exclusive Events
We are excited to announce that during the British & Irish Lions Tour of Australia, we will be hosting a number of exclusive events across our venues, including Live podcasts, Q&A events and guest speakers from some of Rugbys biggest names.
Brickfield Hospitality Group proudly owns multiple venues in the heart of Sydney CBD, including Scruffy Murphys, Cheers Bar, 3 Wise Monkeys and World Square Bar. All of these venues are situated around George St. and all within a few minutes walk of each other.
